I overheard this snippet of conversation when I was wandering around the World Trade Center site the other evening. You really have to admire the deft subtlety with which New Yorkers wield this fine language of ours.

That's an exact quote. It was a thing of beauty to overhear. I even snapped a picture of the group (it was two guys and a girl), but I can't get any my shots off my digital camera while I'm up here in New York. I'll have to wait until Sunday when I get back to DC.
