Munich

Saw it tonight. So many many thoughts. I need to sleep on it. One thing I will say now is that what happened to the Eric Bana who played a marble statue in Troy and a wooden soldier in Blackhawk Down? The guy was simply amazing as Avner.

Let ME solidify your thoughts for you.

Towelheads disturb octoberfest. Anheuser-Busch seeks reprisals. Everybody drinks happily ever after.

Why do you bother with Spielberg movies? The man is a hack.

a hack?

Spielberg?

The guy who conned his way onto the paramount lot and then managed to direct Jaws, Close Encounters, Raiders, ET, The Color Purple, Empire of the Sun, Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan, Catch Me If You Can, and now Munich. Sure, there were some terrible films in between, but you cannot dismiss him out of hand, call him a hack, simply because he's not an Asian filmmaker.

I'm sorry Drew but I find him horribly overrated.
Yes, Jaws was great and Close Encounters equally so but the rest of his movies have done less than nothing for me. Frankly they leave me cold. I find them to be for the most part, soul-less life-less creations.
None of his movies to my mind will stand the test of time.
It's soley my subjective opinion and I know that I'm in the minority but I have to calls 'em like I feel 'em.
