Watching the Super Bowl? Not Me
So, this is not most exciting Super Bowl matchup ever, but I'd still like to watch the game. It is, after all, America's great sporting event. All the other major sports have playoff series which can be long and drawn out over more than a week. But the Super Bowl is a discreet, decisive and (sometimes) exciting moment. Plus, I love the commericals.
So I'm going to be missing out on this great treasure of American culture, not because we can't get reception in the Rockies, nor because I have better things to do, but because I'm going to be trapped in the store selling damn photographs from 3-7 (mountain time).
Wherever you are, enjoy the game and don't spend a second thinking of my plight while you suck down another beer and dig deep into the guacamole.

Aww, honey...I don't do contact sports, but just for you I will have it playing in the background while I fight the world's nastiest, creepy, criminals-in-waiting on my 'puter. Well, except for that brief moratorium when I have to change the channel in protest because CBS won't play a 30 sec. ad that conflicts with our current administration. OK?
Too bad. It was a great game.
And Janet Jackson's half-time performance was a bit, umm, revealing too.
Even us in the lowly Peace Corps sat around watching the Super Bowl. We didn't even have to leave Motootua for the action. Fa'afetai large antenna.
Considering what happened at halftime, the last thing I would say about the Super Bowl is that it is discreet.
(Perhaps you meant discrete...)
Damn those fucking homonyms!
I'm a huge sports fan, but I'll take the Stanley Cup playoffs over the NFL any day. Those guys are the toughest, most competitive players in the world of sport. Period.

There's no TV in the shop? I bet someone will have the game on and you might get hone in time for the end anyway so quit yer bitchin ;)
