Fun with Flickr
Anyway, I put up a bunch of shots from my trip around the Levant in 98/99. Between x-rays on the border between Jordan and Israel, being scanned in with a cheap scanner, being resized in photoshop before I knew what I was doing, and resized again by the funky Flickr software, most of the shots look like they were taken with a first generation cell phone camera, but there they are anyway for your viewing pleasure.
The Flickr software is pretty cool. The slideshow does distort the photos a smidgeon, but you can see all the pics in their beautifully glory here.

My big dilema now is whether or not to upgrade to a pro account. It's only $3.50 a month, but you have to pay it in a lump sum, which stings. I'd love to have unlimited sets (I'm limited to 3 with the free account) and unlimited bandwidth though.
On the other hand, once I upgrade, I'm pretty much obligated to pay 40 bucks a year or so for the rest of my life. If I don't, the account will revert to a free account meaning that only 100 pictures and 3 sets are visible.
So, the big question: Is it worth the $$$$?
My photos are also on my hard drive, but I'm also using ofoto.com to store my pictures and the great thing is that there is no charge unless of course I choose to order prints. Plus I can easily share with family and friends who can then order their own darn prints! Having said that, I don't think you can post up to your blog. So perhaps Flickr or something similar might work better.
Flickr is far more robust and easier to use than ofoto. It also has community, which ofoto totally lacks. I'm having a great time playing with it. I've set up some groups, people have joined. People have left comments on my pictures. It's pretty cool. I'm probably going to suck it up and become a pro memeber.

'Fun with Flickr'.
I like Flickr. V. user-friendly. I'm not a "photographer", but that doesn't matter, really.
p.s. Your Cambodia pics are great, and I'm green with envy over the kitties. I'd love to take pics of mine. :-/
